Four Years of Marriage

Waiting for Nana
Today marks our fourth year of marriage officially.  I can't believe it was 4 years ago since we had the best wedding ever at Cooperwynd in Fountain Hills.  It was such a wonderful day!  After Rob and I exchanged sentimental cards we went out and door shopped.  Yes, you read correctly.  So much for flying off to Hawaii, it's our continued quest to do something new to the house.  It's never ending.  Don't worry, this is ALL my idea.  I was sick and tired or chasing after Preston when he bolted into our unlocked bedroom door.  So after today, our bedroom will be toddler free.

Nana has come and gone.  We tried to take her out to eat for her birthday to Macaroni Grill but Preston was not at his best to experience a full dinning experience.  We gave it the old college try.  Being a toddler, confined to a highchair is a tough one for our little guy.  That ended any and all ideas of going out to lunch.  We got creative and ate where Mr. Preston can enjoy the outdoors.  Like his father he always needs to be on the move.  God love'm.  Nana cooked us food and filled all of our bellies every night.  We also got out shopping for little man and his halloween costume.  I think it has become a tradition.  Last year Nana got Preston's duck costume.  Preston loved seeing, playing, hugging and enjoying his Nana.  I don't think I was quick enough to get any shots of them together though.  Preston is a mover and a shaker.
Preston & his car
Preston gave Nana big hugs & wouldn't let go at the airport when we picked her up.  Preston also had a grand old time visiting the race car that was in Terminal.  His eyes lit up like it was Christmas day.  This kid says the word cars at least 100 times a day.  Big cars, little cars, cars in traffic, cars at the airport, no car isn't excitement for him.  Will he be a race driver, a car buff or a car mechanic?  Who knows but if this kid doesn't do something with cars when he grows up something will be amiss.  Preston also is enjoying the inside of his toy box.  I caught him just sitting in there leaning back and watching TV.  It was so adorable.  Eventually he gets out but for some reason getting in there is becoming part of his daily routine.  Finally Preston likes to straddle our beagle Ruger for pure entertainment.  Ruger is pretty easy going and lets him do it every time, such a sweet dog.  Kids and dogs...so much fun!

Time to finish enjoying my last couple days of vacation. :)
