Hole-y Moly!

You are probably a little disappointed that this isn't a picture of the little guy but this is what I came home to on Friday.  A great big hole!  We had a contractor come and determine if this was a load bearing wall.  Apparently it isn't so after Rob got the okay to cut and demolish he took to it the moment Preston put head to pillow. 

We have committed ourselves to this new pony wall expansion thanks to Rob's efforts and we are having the contractor put the drywall and supports to make it look pretty.  Rob will be cuttting the other side of the wall today so wish us luck.  Completion is expected to be by the end of the month. Now our kitchen won't feel so closed off.  Rob did a very good job!  The remodeling bug is still in us alive and well.
