☺ Easter Fun ☺

Preston & his first Easter basket
Preston slept a hard 8 hours this morning then turned around and slept another 4 hours; this kid wanted to be awake for his first Easter. I gave him his Easter basket and he was very excited, he grabbed it by the handle and pulled it in tight. He got a Teddy bear dressed as a rabbit. No candy this year, he'll definitely make up for it next year. I got his Daddy up for the day after a long 11 hour day and we were off to the Mester's for Easter dinner.

Orla's creative cupcakes

The girls (Lauren & Ellie) got to go on an Easter egg hunt around the house while their pregnant mommies helped them search for the goods. The daddies were helping too. Preston got to watch and get some tips for next year. We munched away on all the yummy appetizers and I got to have my 3rd glass of wine (since the baby was born)...oh it tasted so good. Finally the big ham, green bean casserole, corn casserole and mashed potatoes my plate was full. Preston hung out in the swing while we eat. True to PEN form he only lasted about 15 minutes. He hasn't adapted well to the entertainment of a swing; only in small quantities.

Preston took a little nap on my shoulder after we fed him. It was soon dessert time after some post meal chatting. Oh banoffee, how I missed you...the Mester's fed us well! Then to top it off an adorable Easter cupcake that looked like a basket of eggs. Orla knows how to entertain. It was a great day hanging with everyone, a memorable first Easter for Preston.

End of the Easter Day
