The wire haired terrier we took in since the first month of our marriage now has a better home. Under the condo selling circumstances and dog to people ratio we made the decision to find Buddy a better living situation. I rallied all my animal loving friends via email and Facebook, who in turned rallied their friends of friends and we managed to find a perfect match! We found someone who best suited Buddy. There was a little drama with the former owner yet he realized what was best for his dog and understood we were ALL looking out for the animal and his well being.
I am attempting to upload an old camera video we took of Buddy, who has the activity level of a pin ball. Rob had an old bowling ball that was sitting by the door ready to be thrown out. We saw garbage, Buddy sees a big toy and loads of fun! He was able to move the bowling ball off the stand and began rolling it around the room, using his paws and claws to maneuver it. He was having, literally, a BALL! We have Pergo flooring and it was perfect for him to push it around and attempt to control it. He was so determined! It made for a great America's Best Pet moment for sure.
We miss Buddy, his energy and excitement. We may have to arrange a visit soon, just so Ruger can reunite with his childhood friend and we can enjoy Buddy again.
