Animal Humor

After dinner tends to be quiet, relaxing and uneventful. Usually our furry animals like to take the opportunity to cuddle close and hang out on or around the couch. Manchu prefers the pillow route and naps in my lap. At times Zeppy likes to join in, this evening he demanded attention!

This picture is of Manchu lying down on my lap with Zeppy's rear end planted on our little chihuahua's 7 lb. body. Neither of them budge for a couple minutes, a battle for comfort unintentionally begins. Our amazement of the sight brings laughter into the mix and Zeppy decides he has had enough. Manchu must have been half way to dreamland because he wasn't aware that there was a 13 lb. cat trying to take up some of his pillow space. Good thing too.

Gotta love these entertaining animal events out here in the heat of the desert.
