California Six Flags Getaway

Rob and I made the decision to take a road trip out to California to enjoy the roller coaster fun of Six Flags Magic Mountain. The drive out there was an easy 6 hour ride. We had accommodations that supplied a basic purpose of lodging, nothing to rave about. By the next morning we were up and ready to spend the day at the park. Our first venture was the X2. The wait time was over 2 hours. Believe it or not! Great ride and so worth the wait. The day went much faster and we managed to ride 7 roller coasters in a 8 hour day. We did take an hour off. We ate at some Moose restaurant where a large animated moose sang every 10 minutes. After a quick dinner we played in the Looney toons play area. This area was clearly meant for kids but we enjoyed shooting Nerf balls out of air guns for almost an hour. The day was coming to an end and Rob was just about on his last adventurous rope. I convinced him to ride Batman with me as our final coaster experience. Afterwards we ran into some friends and couldn't help taking some pictures. We had a great time on our first road trip together and we loved having a getaway to Six flags, it was a perfect kind of fun for us!
