I was one of many grandkids that she loved and cherished more and more each time she saw us. I felt that in my heart every time I got to see my Grandma. I will always remember her kind words of encouragement and her sincere interest in all our conversations. There was something about her that gave me great comfort and a wonderful sense of family that I still carry with me to this day.

Her legacy lives on in me, her grandchildren, her children and everyone's lives she affected. Grandmas are moms with lots of frosting. I feel Rudolph Guiliani said it best.
What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. Thank you Grandma for giving me all of this and more.
