Parenting Tip #27 Book Incentives

Preston has been working on this walking thing for some time now. Some squats, pull-ups and cruising have propelled him into the bipedal realm. He hasn't fully committed himself to his efforts yet, although improvements are evident.

Here is our son doing his homework, if you will, practicing some walking after our big family photo shoot today. We only had one wardrobe change, several different family poses and the weather was quite cooperative. Overall a successful photography experience bedsides the fact that Mr. Preston would rarely took his thumb out of his mouth. We will see what yourcreativelightphotography.com can put together for us. Be on the lookout for the results by way of a Christmas card.

I know that giving positive reinforcements/ bribes can't last. I will take full advantage of Preston's love for my old board books (courtesy of Nana) while it lasts. A couple of my old toys kept up in the attic the last three decades have prevailed and are now permanent pieces of Preston's collection. Parenting Tip #28: Keep toys for an exorbitant amount of time, recycle & reuse for your offspring's children. They will LOVE them.
