Da Da-isms

Climbing up, pulling, reaching, crawling and now talking? It is true Mr. Preston has now joined the world of conversation and proudly speaks the word "dada"! Granted, he may not just being looking at his father, he looks at blocks, paper and even his blanket reverberating his newfound word. We love hearing it all the same and I see an extra smile on Rob's face everyone he hears his son call his name. We've been saying mom & dad for SO MANY years now it's nice to hear it back now.

Preston is enjoying some pre-bedtime exploration of his room. He will climb up the outside of his crib, point at the door knobs and play with his toys. He also likes to cruise across the room, sits down, waves at me and then keeps on crawling, smiling practically every second.

The last 2 nights have been consistent 3 AM wake ups and he is almost standing in his crib by the time I get in there. Although his late night cramming of his newnfound skills impresses, my body still needs sleep at that hour. I am hoping that this is a 2 night maxim session.

Eyelids are getting heavy....
