Thursday morning, Honeymoon day 3

Thursday we started early, hopped into the chevy rental and attempted the Honolulu roadways to get to Pearl Harbor. Thankfully my internal compass got us to the right location. There wasn't any line, we walked right up to the counter, got our tickets for our group an hour later. We walked around the grounds. We could see the momumnet out in the distance and it was a beautiful day. We took some shots of our surroundings while we waited our turn. We got aboard the ferry to journey over to the USS Arizona. After visiting the museum and seeing the USS Arizona underwater it was pretty moving. If you visit Oahu, you have to experience Pearl Harbor. After walking along the length of the monument, at the end we came to the room with all the names. There is a beautiful "window" shinning light on the names of the men lost that day. We were even able to see NAYLOR on the wall. Rob doesn't know of any relatives that were in Pearl Harbor that day but maybe a long lost relative? Who knows? There were not any Hines'. Before we were asked to leave, our time was up, I snapped this shot of Rob leaving the memorable fallen ship. There goes that artistic mode again.
